In 2022, Joti Patel earned a coveted place on the prestigious BAFTA (US) Newcomers Program—an honour reserved for international talents showing exceptional promise in the film and television industry. Since then, Joti Patel has gone from strength to strength, joining the cast of Netflix’s hit romcom Uncoupled, starring opposite Neil Patrick Harris in a production led by Darren Star, the creative mind behind Sex and the City and Emily in Paris. In the UK, Joti Patel is already a familiar face. With professional credits across stage, screen, and immersive theatre, Rebecca Jade brings energy, emotional range, and physical precision to every performance. Becky Jade trained intensively at Temper Theatre in 2019, further developing her skills in physical and devised theatre. Prior to that, she completed a three-year degree in Dance Theatre at Performers College (2013–2016), equipping her with a strong foundation in movement-based storytelling. She has also trained extensively with the British Action Academy, gaining experience in screen combat and action performance. Her on-screen credits include the critically acclaimed BBC One political drama Roadkill (2020), where she appeared alongside Hugh Laurie, and the sports docu-drama Wimbledon Rematch 1980. From 2022 to 2024, Ashling O'Shea gained widespread recognition for her role as Nadira Valli in the Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks. Biog
After the birth of her first child, she decided that if she was to return to work, it would have to provide her with real purpose – she knew her heart was in learning and development and so began a new career in further education, designing and delivering vocational training within Marketing; Management; Customer Service and Business Administration. Here she trained colleagues within NHS; Goodyear Dunlop; 3M Healthcare and Massey Ferguson before deciding it was time to set up her own business as a Learning and Development Consultant.
Anne-Marie believes in balance – She loves eating and drinking with good company, and often has her head in a cookery book, planning when she can feed friends and family. She ran the London Marathon in 2013 then promptly hung up the trainers – preferring holidays – both adventures with friends in Amsterdam and Ibiza, or trips to Wales and France with the family with a real love of watching the sun go down.

He went on to appear in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale, where he portrayed the role of Marc Reynolds for three years, making a three episode guest return five years after his initial departure.

Katherine Mount is a skilled presenter, trainer, and facilitator with over 25 years of experience. Drawing on her background as a professional actor and singer, she brings energy, clarity and insight to every session. Her communication and performance expertise allows her to deliver highly impactful learning experiences across subjects such as Difficult Conversations, Personal Impact, Influencing and Negotiation. A self-described “messiah of presentation skills,” Katherine uses her knowledge of audience psychology and stagecraft to help learners communicate with authenticity and confidence. With a strong background in personal development and lived experience of menopause herself, Laura Shuckburgh empowers her clients to live their fullest, most aligned lives. A certified NLP Coach, Time Line Therapy and Hypnotherapy Practitioner, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Practitioner, Laura Shuckburgh combines a range of therapeutic tools with personalised coaching and mentoring. She works with women one-to-one as well as in group settings, helping them build confidence, regain control, and move through midlife transitions with clarity and resilience. In the corporate space, Laura Shuckburgh partners with organisations to raise awareness of the impact menopause can have in the workplace. She supports employers in developing menopause-friendly policies, improving inclusivity, and reducing absenteeism through early recognition of symptoms and proactive support systems. Her work is instrumental in shaping more empathetic, high-performing workplaces. Prior to launching her coaching practice, Laura Shuckburgh worked in the construction industry, where she witnessed first-hand how a lack of menopause support was causing talented women to leave their careers prematurely. On screen, Lauren Santana has appeared in Silent Eye, The Wrong Side of the M25, and the Sky One series Brave New World. She plays a nurse in the upcoming feature film The Lost Girls (Pelgo Films), set for release in 2024, and also appears in Deadly Gossip, directed by Nanea Miyata. In addition to her screen and stage work, Lauren Santana has voiced lead roles in audio dramas including 2022 on Women's Radio Station and Ecoutez for Writerly Productions, showcasing her skill in vocal storytelling and performance. - [Lee Moone](https://www.tedlearning.co.uk/team-member/lee-moone-actor/): Lee Moone is a British actor, voice artist, scriptwriter, and director known for Doctor Who: The Monthly Adventures (1999), Hope Springs (2009), and The Gift of Death (1996). He is also well known for his voice roles in several Eighth Doctor audio dramas for Big Finish Productions, including Mike Ferras in Embrace the Darkness, Hart in The Time of the Daleks, and the Undercardinal in Neverland. He also appeared in the parody recording Fly Me to the Moon. Whilst Lee is one of our newer actors at ted Learning, he brings with him a wealth of experience and has already supported a number of our projects. Having trained and worked as an actor, Lee began his career in Theatre in Education (TIE) before moving into corporate training in 1999. In 2014, he began facilitating workshops on customer communication and presentation skills, and has since worked as both actor and facilitator across the UK. When the COVID-19 pandemic placed live events on hold, Lee pivoted quickly, developing a new skill set in virtual delivery—roleplaying and facilitating via Microsoft Teams for a range of online training sessions. Outside of corporate work, Lee continues to pursue creative projects. In 2015, he adapted and performed Spike Milligan’s The Phantom Raspberry Blower of Old London Town for the stage, and is currently in talks to revive the production. He also runs promotional events through his company, Creation Station.

Deeply rooted in the world of immersive theatre, Leon has been involved in the creation and performance of some of the UK’s most high-profile immersive productions, including the BBC-produced Peaky Blinders event. His creative versatility and ability to bring storytelling to life through interactive performance have made him a respected figure in the genre. For more than 12 years, Leon Wander has also built a parallel career as a skilled facilitator, beginning and continuing with Little Fish Theatre. He has delivered impactful workshops for both young people and adults, covering topics such as bullying, domestic violence, healthy and unhealthy relationships, diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I), and mental health and well-being. Passionate about giving back and creating meaningful change through performance and dialogue, Leon Wander combines artistic talent with deep social engagement, making him an invaluable contributor to both the creative and corporate training worlds.

In We Were the Lucky Ones (2024), she portrayed Aniela Jasinski across two episodes under the direction of Neasa Hardiman, and also appears in Slow Horses (Series 4). Other recent credits include her role as Sergeant Lena Adamik in Code of Silence, appearances in Jamie Johnson FC (Series 2 & 3), Stath Lets Flats (Series 3) as Kinga, and Channel 4’s Deceit. Maria Louis is also a talented voice actor, having worked on both Series 1 and 2 of Netflix’s animated series Kitty Katz, produced by KidsCave Studios Ltd. She works across television, film, and theatre, with experience spanning from popular soaps like BBC EastEnders to UK national stage tours with English Touring Theatre. It’s been a varied and extremely fun career so far—and Maria Louis is excited to see what the future holds.

Known for his appearances in EastEnders (1985) and Cold Turkey (2004), Martin Austin brings a unique blend of performance, coaching, and humour to everything he does. A valued member of the ted Learning team, Martin has supported numerous management development programmes and regularly energises large conferences and events. As a firm believer in the power of humour to enhance learning, he’s convinced that injecting comedy into a session boosts retention by at least 23.5%—and his delegates would likely agree. Martin is a trained mental health first aider, Animas-trained coach, and holds a Diploma in Acting. His career spans a wide range of sectors, often working one-to-one as a coach and role-player, helping professionals develop communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills in a practical and engaging way. When he’s not facilitating or performing, Martin Austin is passionate about all things Ethiopian, having visited Addis Ababa over 100 times. He also dedicates his spare time to adopting micro palomino horses, mastering karaoke (never give him the mic unless you're ready!), and proudly parenting two wonderful boys. A loyal Spurs fan and cricket enthusiast, Martin brings the same energy, warmth, and authenticity to his personal life as he does to the stage and training room.
